Romagna is well-known for good food, something you can find in the tastes and flavours of the local cuisine.
Faithful to tradition, Cervia offers a variety of typical dishes: from home made pasta –
tagliatelle, tortelli, passatelli, cappelletti – to the appetizing grilled meat and the genuine products of the orchard. Moreover Cervia, as a seaside resort, offers delicious dishes made from fresh fish, especially shellfish and local fish.
These specialities are always accompanied by the local bread called “piadina”, a real symbol of the cuisine in Romagna, and by good wines of the territory with controlled denomination of origin: Sangiovese, Albana, Trebbiano, Cagnina. You can’t miss the famous “sweet” salt of the salt pans of Cervia, celebrated during the “Salt Festival .
Gourmets and enogastronomy lovers have only the embarrassment of choice among the many restaurants, taverns, inns, farm holidays that offer dishes and typical products of the territory.
And those who want to follow the routes of taste can go along the “Wines and Dine Route of the province of Forlì and Cesena” which suggests tasty itineraries through the hinterland…and why not,
visit the farms joined in the “Blutur” project, which allow them to discover the typical local products and the main characters of the territory.
